Advocacy

This design was specifically inspired by the idea of socio economic class and sustainability. The idea of class is such a present idea in New York City, showing up as elitism in the fashion industry. The fashion industry traditionally has had a wall up, with events like Fashion Week catering to the upper class. My design takes a classic idea but modernizes it in a sustainable way, with recycled feathers. With fur rooted in elitism, this design is taking a stand.
